Round & Round the Garden produces quality handmade children's clothing from vintage, recycled and new vintage inspired fabric. We are mainly found at markets in, around and outside of Sydney, but due to a high demand for our fabulous kiddies clothes, we have a select range that can be purchased online. Apart from our clothing range we also do bunting, custom designs, and formal custom designs for children.

Welcome to our website. Please take a moment to read about what inspires our designs. We always welcome your feedback and hope you love our range as much as we do. We are continually designing new clothing, so if you cannot get to one of our markets and don't find anything you like on the website please contact us so we can tell you about what's new.

Round & round the garden was born out of a combination of reasons….

Some of them were about sustainability and sentimentality. With a growing consciousness about the short life span and sense of excessiveness around children’s products, clothing and lifestyles today, it is important to consider ways to recycle and renew older fabrics. We feel, as do others, that the things of long-ago, fabrics included, seem to have an aged beauty about them and are sometimes of a superior strength to newer fabrics. Some of our fabrics and designs nostalgically conjure up memories of childhood, and offer us a way to incorporate timeless vintage inspired prints and designs that are reminiscent of an era when being a kid often seemed simpler and more carefree. Play was outdoors, free and not time limited, and clothing was durable, and practical. Our website range includes bright, bold colourful tutus, whimsical fairy inspired hanky dresses, cotton vintage inspired dresses and vintage chenille boys and girls clothing. We also do a range of character dress ups, capes, bunting and made to order formal wear. Items made mostly from new fabrics such as our tutus and dress ups, are still easy to keep clean, inspire creative play and delight, and most of all are durable. You can hand these down to upcoming pricesses, fairy's, wizards and superheroes.

Round & round the garden's fruition was also motivated by more practical and financial reasons in providing a working venture that offers a fun creative way to generate a second income, and to offer hand made, unique, kids clothing at affordable prices. Primarily operated by a mum and a grandmother, who work around the "busyness" of life outside round and round the garden, to design and showcase our creations.

Sometimes things come together ...such as the above reasons combined with the right timing to begin, so supplying the necessary ingredients to fuel our long time passion to create children’s clothing with a twist.

We are continually inspired by beautiful colour & design, gorgeous fabrics, and mostly by our children and what they and other kids like to wear. Seeing how children respond to our creations is enough to keep us going.

The information on this website is provided in good faith. To the best of our knowledge the information is accurate and current. Round & Round the Garden, its employees or contractors do not claim any warranty for the accuracy of this website or warrenty that our products and services will meet your requirements. Please read the the policy on returns.

Whilst we take precaution to ensure that transactions conducted at this site are safe and secure, we can not accept responsibility for any losses or damages incurred by customers who's credit card or bank details have been used fraudulently or without authorisation.

If we believe that a credit card is being used fraudulently we will not proceed with the transaction.

We agree to use the terms and conditions set out by Pay Pal for any transactions using Pay Pal.

Return Policy
Round & Round the Garden take the utmost care in ensuring all of our products are of high standard and quality. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase we accept returns within 10 days from the date of purchase and provide a full refund, exchange or credit notice excluding the cost of postage.

If a product supplied by us was faulty then we will bare the cost of postage so long as you return the item with its original tags and labels in tact. You will need to contact us to discuss your return prior to posting it . We will not accept returns form private couriers or expedited post.

If you have purchased an incorrect item or changed your mind we are happy to help but need to be contacted by you first to discuss options. We ordinarily will issue you with a credit or exchange of equal value so long as all tags are in tact and items unworn and returned ion there original condition and packaging. We will not cover the cost of postage in this instance.

If goods have been damaged in the mail please contact us within 24 hours of receipt of goods to discuss a replacement.

Postage
All delivery charges and times are in accordance with Australia Post guidelines. If you need an item more quickly we are happy to help . Call us for delivery options. As a general guideline we have included approximate weights for all clothing. The postage calculator estimates cost on the ratio of $2 per 100g. Alternatively you can contact us if you have particular requirements. Costs are on par with Australia Post , where the cost of sending a small parcel up to 250g is $4.20, and a parcel 250g to 500g is $5.40.
We can gift wrap with personalised messages for $2.50.

We can ship overseas. Contact us for delivery options and shipping costs.

Privacy
We may need to collect your personal information for the purpose of postage, purchases of our products, gift vouchers or special orders. We do not provide your personal information to third parties without your authorised consent. Third parties does not include those acting as hosts to our Website and other parties assisting us in conducting our business and providing a service to you.

Our Range

Tie Dyed

Soft and pretty for the budding fairy, this little dress comes with a hand dyed cotton singlet with lined chiffon hanky style skirt and matching single shoulder detail. There is a a crochet and hand painted butterfly applique. This little dress can also be made to order with longer sleeves for the cooler months.

Specials

Beautiful spotted print tulle skirt with gathered satin waist and handmade rose appliques. The skirt has a black tulle piece around the hem for detail, sits just above calf length and is fully lined. It looks stunning on and can be dressed up pr down depending on the occassion. Limited fabric available. It is also available in red with white spots
